He talked about how there has been research showing that IV (intravenous) Vitamin C, hydrocortisone and thiamine dramatically reduced deaths from sepsis, which is a life-threatening condition triggered by a systemic infection in the body.
A Dr. Paul Marik, who is located in Norfolk, VA, which is the next city from where I live in Virginia Beach, developed a treatment protocol that reduced sepsis mortality from 40% to 8.5% in people who had the flu. His protocol has also worked successfully with pediatric patients.
A 2009 study found that IV Vitamin C also worked to stop acute respiratory inflection better than a placebo.
