Happiness Is More Than Money

Prevention Magazine reported that the buying power of Americans had doubled, however the number of very happy people remains at the 1957 level of just one in three. This means we need to still look beyond income levels and what we can buy to achieve happiness. You might want to ask yourself some questions - Are you working at what you enjoy doing? Do you take enough time with family and friends? Are you taking vacation time and doing hobbies that you enjoy? Are you doing volunteer work for an organization that supports your values? Do you have a personal relationship that brings you joy?

If you haven't answered these questions with a lot of yeses, then you might want to reevaluate what you are doing to create joy in your life.
