Lifting Weights Can Reduce Multiple Sclerosis Symptoms


As reported in Prevention Magazine a study of 13 people with MS who did a customized strength training program for 16 weeks had significant improvements in immune function and decreased inflammation. This helped with physical performance and made everyday tasks such as walking and climbing stairs easier.

So if you have MS or know someone with it, have them talk to a physical therapist or exercise specialist to have a weight training program designed for the person.
