Use Zinc To Reduce The Impact Of A Cold

zincYears ago, research started showing that zinc could reduce the suffering from the common cold.

A new Canadian analysis published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal has confirmed this outcome.

The researchers looked at the findings of 17 randomized trials that included more than 2,100 patients. The patients were either given zinc or placebo.

The researchers found that people who took zinc saw a significant reduction in both cold symptoms and the duration of those symptoms. They also found that a higher does worked better than a low dose.

While zinc works on adults, the researchers found no effect on children.

So…feel a cold coming on get some zinc lozenges and as they melt in your mouth your cold will lose its impact.
