With The Flu Season Coming, Should You Vaccinate?

naturalantibioticsIn 2008-2009 during the early weeks of the H1N1 flue pandemic, researchers in British Columbia’s Center for Disease noticed that people who got the flu shot seemed twice as likely to get infected with the pandemic virus than people who hadn’t received a flu shot. In addition, people who had the shot had more serious bouts of illness.

The study also found evidence suggesting that people who were not vaccinated and got infected with seasonal flu had protection against that virus, similar viruses and even flu viruses that were quite different during the next year’s flu season.

As the researchers said, if something really new and nasty comes along, that people who have been vaccinated may in fact be more susceptible compared to getting the flu naturally. A study published in the Journal of Virology in November 2011 confirmed these findings.

So, what can you do if you want to increase your immunity without getting a vaccination?

Consider taking Vitamin D3 which will help you avoid all kinds of infections. Get a blood test to determine your current level and then take supplements so you are in the range of 50 to 70 ng/lt. Also, you can use natural antibiotics such as oil of oregano and garlic.
