How To Reduce The Rebellion Coming From Your Teenager

teenyoga4A study published in the Journal of Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics found that teenagers taking yoga 2 to 3 times per week for 10 weeks were less likely to feel anxious or in a bad mood than teens who took a standard gym class.

While the researchers are not sure why yoga was so effective, they think it might be the effect of deep breathing or that doing yoga may have lowered social stress and anxiety.

So… regardless of the reason, getting your teens in to a better mood is worth doing yoga.

Since there are lots of other benefits from doing yoga, why don’t you do it with them.
