The Healing Power of Vitamin K2
Vitamin K2 is a vitamin that tends to get ignored; yet, it’s one that is a powerful healer. K2 plays an important role in reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease by as much as 50%. There is also a version of K2 called MK-7 that may minimize concerns about arterial health and vascular elasticity. K2 also helps Vitamin D get its job done by helping calcium move out of the blood and into the bones. Without the K2, the calcium may be mis deposited in your arteries. Moving the calcium out of the blood is what contributes to arterial health and vascular elasticity. The recommended dose is a minimum of 32 to 300 mg per day. I personally am taking 200 mg per day of MK-7. If you are using blood thinner meds, consult your doc before taking Vitamin K2.
