Here's another study on the power of
prayer. In this one there were 1,000 hospitalized heart patients divided into
two groups. Half were given to one of 15 teams composed of 5 practicing
Christians in each team. They prayed for the patients' names they were given.
Four weeks later, the group that had been prayer for had an 11% reduction in
medical complications and in the need for medications or surgery during this
four-week period. So if you have medical difficulties make sure to get at least
5 people on your side.
