PROTEIN REDUCES TIME TO HEAL FRACTURES


A study of people who broke their hips due to osteoporosis
found that patients who were deficient in protein who began taking
protein supplements retained 50% more bone mass and recovered an
average of 11 days sooner than those taking a placebo. Consult a physician because too much protein can be bad for the bones.
