Social Media Is Spreading Good News

goodnewsbad

As you know the media tends to focus in on bad news stories because bad news sells.

Researchers are discovering new trends for social media. By scanning people’s brains and tracking their emails and online post, the researchers have found that good news can spread faster and farther than disasters and sob stories.

It seems when you share a story with your friends and peers, you care about how they will react so you’ll share articles that are exciting, funny or emotions like anger or anxiety.

The more positive the article, the more likely it was to be shared. So…positive communication definitely has a place in our lives.
