Vitamin C & D for COVID-19 & Special Webinar I’ve Created

                               First Vitamin C

On February 28, I wrote in my blog about Vitamin C being used to combat sepsis with great results.
The vitamin reduced sepsis mortality from 40% to 8.5% in people who had the flu.

Well, Northwell Health, which is largest hospital system in New York State, is now using Vitamin C intravenously on seriously sick COVID-19 patients. They are immediately giving the patient 1,500 milligrams of Vitamin C intravenously. They then continue giving it 3 to 4 times a day.

In a high dose Vitamin C becomes a potent oxidizing agent which is killing the coronavirus.

They’ve found that patients who had this protocol did significantly better than those who did not receive it. As Dr. Andrew G. Weber said, “It helps tremendously.” The C is used in combination with other drugs.

                     Next Vitamin D

With Vitamin D, the Orthomolecular Medicine News Service reported that a South Korean doctor gave patient’s injections of 100,00 IUs of Vitamin D and 24,000 mg of Vitamin C intravenously. He found that his patients were getting well in days!

In MedPageToday, Dr. John C. Umhau, Public Health Specialist at National Institutes of Health, recommends people take 5,000 IUs per day of Vitamin D.

Since your level of D can vary greatly, I’d recommend getting a blood test, if and when you can, so you can see where you’re at and then again in a month to track the level you’ve reached. You want to aim for a minimum of 50 ng/ml. Since getting a blood test will be difficult today, I would also recommend at least 5,000 IUs per day.

So…if you get or know someone with COVID-19, please let them know about this important information!

Webinar - Managing Your Stress in These Difficult Times

I’ve created a webinar because of what’s going on called Managing Your Stress in These Difficult Times.

I just did it today for the Wyoming State Bar and the feedback was very positive. I’m tentatively going to do it in 2 weeks for the Florida Dental Association. I

f you know a company or association that would be interested in my speaking to their people, please contact me with their info.

Here’s the write up and description of the Virtual Seminar Presentation for the group:

You may not be aware that I’m a pioneer in the field of stress management. I wrote one of the first books in this field called How to Relax & Enjoy…  My most recent book in the area is Managing Your Stress in Difficult Times: Succeeding in Times of Change. It is available as a print book and as an e-book.

The aim of the VSP is to give the viewers an actual participatory experience in how to immediately reduce the level of stress in their lives caused by the current situation with the coronavirus. In addition to the members of your association, you might want to offer your members the ability to extend the invitation to attend to their company’s employees, customers and families.

Here is the description of the VSP that would be emailed to your members:

Managing Your Stress in These Difficult Times

The coronavirus could be in front of you, behind you, to the right or left, too. This uncertainty is causing all of us a lot of stress! So, is there anything we can do about this stress?  We decided to look for an expert and found a pioneer in the field of stress management, Dr. Jerry V. Teplitz. He’s been teaching and writing about how to handle stress since 1974. He’s been publishing a month blog called Healthy Alternatives for 18 years and is now doing a weekly email.

He wrote How to Relax and Enjoy…, which was one of the first books in the field before stress management was even considered a field!  His latest iteration of this book is Managing Your Stress in Difficult Times: Succeeding in Times of Change. In August, Dr. Teplitz will be inducted as a Legend of the Speaking Profession by the Veteran Speakers Network.

We decided that Jerry was the right person to show you how to manage your stress in these difficult times, so we have scheduled him to present an online Virtual Speaking Presentation on XXXX at XXXX EDT. He will show you and then have you experience actual techniques that you can use immediately to reduce your level of stress. The pandemic will end, but your level of stress may not, and the long-term health consequences to you may increase. The chaos might continue, but you will now have tools to keep yourself centered – with less stress.
