Paralyzed People Can Walk Again

Dr. Julian Whitaker in his newsletter Health and Healing reports on Dr. Harry S. Goldsmith and the work he is doing with healing severed spinal cords. Dr. Goldsmith pioneered his approach over 30 years ago and has published over 200 scientific articles.

Dr. Goldsmith has discovered a part of the body called the omentum. It is a large fatty membrane located in the abdominal cavity. The omentum is loaded with blood vessels, lymphatic tissues, neurotransmitters, a nerve growth factor, and angiogenic compounds which stimulate new blood vessel growth,. During surgery, Dr. Goldsmith treats the omentum as if it were a rubber band by stretching it over the part of the spine that needs healing. He has actually done this surgery on people who had severed spines and got them walking again!

The momentum has also been used to help people with Alzheimer's, stroke, Parkinson's, cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders.
