Dr. Joseph Beckman from the Linus Pauling Institute reported that zinc deficiencies in a mouse model of ALS, also know as Lou Gehrig disease, accelerated the progression of the disease and that treating the mice with appropriate amounts of zinc normalized the mortality curve.

Some Hope For ALS Sufferers
