ONE MINUTE TEST TO DISCOVER A STROKE

There's a one minute test to discover if someone is suffering a stroke. This was reported at the 28th International Stroke Conference. There are three steps:
1. Ask the person to raise both arms in front of the chest and hold them up.
2. To speak a simple sentence clearly.
3. To smile.
In a study, the volunteers were able to identify the stroke with a high level of accuracy.

Other signs to be aware of include dizziness, dim or blurred vision, numbness or tingling in the mouth or cheeks, weakness in the legs and arms, headache in the back of the head, and nausea and vomiting.
