Can vitamin supplements really help? A study published in Psychology and Health had 100 middle managers in British factories whose average age was 39 take either a moderate vitamin, mineral plus ginseng supplement or a dummy pill for eight weeks. The persons taking the supplements felt more pep and less stress than the placebo group.

The persons taking supplements who ate lousy diets really changed. They felt calmer, less confused, less angry, and they even had much better moods.
