 The next time you have difficulty staying asleep you can munch on a bagel or other carbohydrate. A study reported in Sleep Journal found that people eating a carbohydrate lunch slept three times longer than people who didn't even eat lunch. So if you're a light sleeper or just tend to wake up in the middle of the night, have a bagel right before you go to bed.
