AN OPTION TO JOINT REPLACEMENT SURGERY

When you or someone you know is told they need hip or knee replacement surgery, we usually don't think there is a real option to the surgery.

Now here's an approach that's been around quite awhile. It's called Reconstructive Therapy or Prolotherapy and involves injecting a solution into weakened ligaments, tendons, and discs of the joint. The solution is a mild irritant and causes an inflammatory reaction which stimulates the body to produce new collagen and tighten the ligaments. This makes the joint more stable and stronger. The treatment can take three to six months with 3 to 4 injections per month. Dr. Julian Whitaker highly recommends pursuing this treatment before going under the knife.
