Using B Vitamins If You’ve Got Hearing Loss

hearlinglossAccording to an Australian study, 64% of the people with a high risk of hearing loss had elevated levels of homocysteine. It appears that homocysteine causes oxidative stress and blood vessel leakage.

According to Dr. Julian Whitaker, the B Vitamins can reduce homocysteine levels. If you have high levels of homocysteine, he recommends taking 6,000 mcg folic acid, 2,000 mcg of Vitamin B12 and 125 mg of B6 daily.

Divide these quantities in equal doses with each meal.
