I’ve written previously about the negative effects of cell phone radiation on our brains and bodies. There now a decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit about how the FCC has not met its responsibility to make sure cell phones and 5G networks are safe.
The court ruled the Federal Communications Commission failed to provide a reasoned explanation for its determination that its current guidelines adequately protect against harmful effects of exposure to radiofrequency radiation.
The case was filed by the Children’s Health Defense. The case involved the FCCs decision not to review its 1996 health and safety standards. It refused to look at standards that are over 15 years old!
The court ruled that the FCC failed to consider the non-cancer adverse health effects of wireless technology when it decided that its 1996 radiofrequency emission guidelines protect the public’s health.
The court's decision will require the FCC to re-open the proceeding and for the first time meaningfully and responsibly confront the vast amount of scientific and medical research showing that current guidelines do not adequately protect health and the environment.
In its decision the court’s said:
“…the FCC completely failed to acknowledg(Reported The Defender August 2021)e, let alone respond to, comments concerning the impact of RF radiation on the environment…The record contains substantive evidence of potential environmental harms.”
As a matter of fact, the petitioners in the case filed 11,000 pages of evidence of harm from 5G and wireless technologies which the FCC ignored, including evidence of already existing widespread sickness.
So…maybe now we’ll get a fair reading on the impact of cell phones and 5G technology on all of us.
